Hello Fellow ACB membership! My name is Cassie Trosper. I am honored to be the current President of the Veterans of ACB. You may know us previously as Visually Impaired Veterans of America (VIVA). To begin with a little bit about myself, I am honored to have 3 amazing kiddos! They are Travis age 20, Hunter age 15, and Abi age 9. I am engaged to an awesome guy named Aaron. Currently I am a college student working on my certificate of early childhood education. My goal is to work with kids who have special needs.

I am a United States Army Veteran. I served 3 years before being diagnosed with Retinitis Pigmentosa (RP). As a truck driver they didn’t feel that would be a good combination and I was honorably discharged under medical circumstances. I currently stay involved with my local AMVETS chapter within my community. In my spare time I love to loom knit, spend time with my family, and also work within our local Church as a childrens' worship teacher. I am very excited to be part of the Veterans of ACB and can’t wait to help us grow more as a special interest affiliate.
